our beliefs
We believe that the Bible has taught us that pistis Christou in Paul’s letters should be understood as “the faithfulness of Christ” we believe that Christ as the one who exercises faith. We reject traditionally use of this phrases as unfound which has been interpreted by the legalistic Church emphasizing Christ as the object of faith; “faith in Jesus Christ.” The living waters of Jesus is offered to all of us and it was the greatest gift of all freedom from religion. We reject the false religious beliefs of legalism and enslavement of Gods creation human beings to the “do’s and “don’ts of these beliefs.
In Ephesians 4:25-5:2 Paul tells us that we need to put away falsehood and to speak truthfully to one another. Our beliefs are based John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” We were told of this love in John 3:17 “For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him” We believe that it is legalistic religion that condemns which Jesus did come to free us from this condemnation. The grace of God is there for all no matter what one’s religious beliefs or lack of. Genesis 1:31 “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold it was good. And the evening and morning were the sixth day. “ Those we believe in God, and respect the power of Prayer. We also respect and value those who do not believe in God and those who get their answers through means other than prayer. We believe that all men and women should be given the opportunity to become useful citizens, do meaningful work, to encourage and help others find their purpose and achieve a healthy self-image. We believe in allowing individual responsibility for spiritual growth no matter what their religious beliefs or practice’s.
In the very Gospels, we learned of the wrong use of power is central. The stories tell us that two thousand years ago, the most famous and powerful of all empires Roman executed a Jewish carpenter the sun of God because his teachings were disruptive to its national interests. We affirm as a nation of God’s creation of human-beings to Seeking Peace, Not War.
We rejected “Intelligent design” (ID) as a science. Those that advocates’ for pseudoscience of “Intelligent design” have been pushing Intelligent design” (ID) as a science for a number of reasons, which ranging from simple naiveté about the nature of science and the scientific method, to deliberate deception for financial, political religious benefit by the legalistic church . The Bible is not a book of science and to use the Bible as scientific proof of the “nature of things” totally unbiblical with out standing. “ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” Just how and when God did that creating is not revealed. When this creation is properly understood science and the Bible are never in conflict. Truth cannot contradict truth. Beyond nature is the spirit that gives meaning to Life. That is concern of religion. Science and religion are interacting approaches to the same reality. The Bible is a book of life not a book of science and the only evil, sin is that of mans inhumanity to man. It is only under true science will understand God “nature” and our human relationship to God. Our belief’s does support ethical embryonic stem cell (ESC) research.
Matthew 25: 34-40 "Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me... Truly I tell you, just as you did it to the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." We affirm every human-being to be equal as in the eye of God. We reject those who would discrimination against gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender – especially the legally sanctioned of discrimination, prejudice and stereotyping to make these human-beings second class this violates every Gospel-based values of justice and equality for all people. We support equality under the law for all Americans, regardless of sexual orientation, gender id, race, creed, ethnic back ground.
We honor the sanctity of childbearing decisions - Jesus all ways taught compassion, responsibility, and equality. We in following his call, support responsible, compassionate programs that are genuinely effective in helping prevent unintended pregnancy, an outcome no woman wants. We affirm that each woman's body belongs to herself. No woman should be forced either to bear a child or to terminate a pregnancy.
We believe that limiting the best medical care to those who can pay the most and burdening those who need healing with enormous indebtedness are completely contrary to the Gospels. Jesus the healer calls us to make health and healing available to every citizen. The exclusion of any one including transgender form the best and most appropriate modern health care in the name of religious values, social and economic value is unbiblical and against all teaching of Jesus’ and against God’s creation of good. We reject the use of “Reparative therapy” aversion therapy, psychoactive medications, electroconvulsive therapy treatments aimed at curing homosexuality or transsexuality in the name of God as being with out standing and unbiblical and against all teaching of Jesus. Romans 12:3 Paul wrote to the church; “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think of himself soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith”
As in the first book of the Old Testament God placed us on earth to be Stewarts of our planet, we believe that the pillaging of the earth, its resources, and its creatures is a colossal failure of responsible stewardship and is also a failure to honor God, to whom the earth belongs.
Jesus told his followers not to be distracted from their mission in the world by rumors and speculations about the "end times." We believe that using the "end-times" today as a justification for wreaking destruction on the created world is simply a smokescreen to hide the real motive - greed - which Jesus warned his followers against. We as God’s faithful stewards, we are obliged to call for public policies that preserve the natural riches of our nation for the public good and for the glory of the Creator.

Absolution of Sins
From our services section, you can also access our Online Confession and Absolution of Sins page, if this is within your belief system. You can give thought to your actions and release yourself from the burden of guilt. Many people spend their lives reliving and regretting past actions. By confessing them in writing and genuinely seeking to improve your behavior, you can release your guilt and move on. Please take a moment to look at it and see if there's anything you'd like to let go of.
In that section, you are given the opportunity to receive forgiveness for your sins, if this concept is in your belief system.
You can be certain that we are sincere in this offer and that you are worthy to receive it.

joy
Joy is a word of great happiness and something in which brings happiness to us. It is a word having an order which Christians should seek in their daily lives and scripture supports that order. Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV) - Jesus said unto them, THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF. On these two commandments hang all the law and prophets. We are to put our Lord first and then others before us. We are to love the Lord thy God with every part of our being and treat others as you would treat your self. Then you can obtain joy in your life, which is:
Jesus
Others
YourselfWhen you are truly trusting in your Lord; he’ll provide everything you need. You got to have full faith without any doubt the Lord will provide for you. The Lord tells us in I Timothy 6:8 (KJV) - And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. When we have the basics of life we should be happy and thankful to the Lord; there is others who have less.
When you have obtained extra blessings from the Lord; you must be a good steward of these gifts. Instead of seeking worldly treasures and worldly pleasures; look at those around you. When you see someone hungry, feed them. When you see someone in need of shelter, shelter them. When you see someone thirsty, give them something to drink. This is commanded of all of us by the Lord written in Matthew chapter 25. When we show love to each other by helping each other out; our world will be much better.
When you are showing your love to the Lord with everything you have. Then seek to help each other out, even when it means you might not get a new outfit. This will lift your soul and give your self pure joy. You aren’t self seeking, but seeking to do the will of your Lord. The Lord was our servant first and we should want to follow in his footsteps and be a servant to others.Let me put a personal experience in this. I was helping at a church where they fed those in need. A lady came in with two little children; the girl was six and the boy was eight. They took their food to the table and ate. It wasn’t long until the little boy came back and asked for seconds; not just for him, but his little sister also. The little boy after he got seconds given to him lit up with a joy that really touched my heart. The little boy was so happy over having a bowl of soup to eat; it really made me sit back and think. This precious child of God was so enthused with having a bowl of soup to eat; we seem to take this for granted. We enjoy eating all this wondrous food, while a child enjoys just a bowl of soup. I had some cookies that I was preparing to eat, but I couldn’t. I took the cookies to the children and the thanks I received will never be touched. I have never in my life seen a child so happy. Happy to just to have a something to eat, never once expecting an extra treat; some cookies.
The next time you go out to eat or sit down to eat; remember there is hungry children in our world. When you give thanks for the food the Lord has blessed you with; remember how thankful you truly should be. When you go to get a worldly possession you probably don’t need; remember the money could go to feed a child of God; your Christian brother or sister. When you realize the difference you can truly make in another person’s life; you’ll truly feel the joy.
